This is where I get my hair, my adventurous spirit, my nose, love for hand written cards, and my relentless drive.
My dad never misses <anyone’s> birthday, anniversary, or a milestone without sending a card. 📝 leading with generosity & compassion.
He’s silly. My dad still sends me videos on my bday with that dog hand puppet, Ralph 😆 🐶
He’s adventurous. My dad will do ANYTHING. No SERIOUSLY, he never backs down from a challenge….. surfing 🏄♂️ , jumping out of planes, running stairs, mountain biking 🚵♀️ , skiing, BJJ 🥋 …. He just says yes!
He made sure his words of wisdom and support found me hundreds of miles deep in the woods. Sending letters to my resupply. Reminding me that “It don’t mean shit to a tree” (Jefferson Airplane). 🌲 Those letters meant the world to me and I reread them often.
It just doesn’t matter. He’s been saying this to me since I was a child. I can’t thank him enough for reminding me of this throughout my life.
I feel like such a proud little girl (at any age) when I can come to you and say look what I did dad, what I built, the mountains I climbed, what I have accomplished. 🙌🏽
You’ve gifted me deeply rooted values, my entrepreneurial spirit, endless yearning to do, see, & create more and a heart full of wanderlust 💕
